Once the 2025 Season Begins . . .

The girls volleyball season hits the ground running once tryouts are completed August 6th so if you have made one of the teams in the program, below are some important dates/activities that will be coming up quickly:

• Monday, August 4 thru Wednesday, August 6 = tryouts

• Thursday, August 7 = first official practice for all 3 teams (practice shirts will be distributed and program paperwork will be collected)

• Friday, August 8 = Varsity's first scrimmage @ 4:00 (ShinDig at Escondido High School)

• Saturday, August 9 = uniforms and any other program apparel will be distributed to all players

• Saturday, August 9 = parent meeting from 11:30am-12:30pm in Coach Ambort's classroom (N6-104)

• Tuesday, August 12 = 6-team scrimmage for all 3 teams @ 3:30pm (Varsity @ LJCD / JV @ Del Norte / Freshmen @ Westview)

• Wednesday, August 13 = 5-team scrimmage for all 3 teams @ 4:30pm (Varsity @ Poway / JV @ Scripps / Freshmen @ RB)

• Friday-Saturday, August 15-16 = Varsity's first tournament (out-of-county at Tesoro High School)

• Friday-Saturday, August 22-23 = Varsity's second tournament (out-of-county in Las Vegas)

• Saturday, August 23 = JV's and Freshmen's first tournaments (both at Alliant University)

• Monday, August 25 = Team Pictures at 4pm (@ Poway for JV & Freshmen with Varsity location TBD)

• Thursday, August 28 = 1st official match of the year vs. Helix @ PHS
